      From Africa to Appalachia reception

      Location:  Rose Center, Morristown

      Rose Center begins February 2015 with a celebration of local, regional, and national artists.  This annual event, held from 2 PM – 4 PM, is an opportunity for the public to learn about and celebrate the African American contribution to the arts and culture of the Appalachia region. Musical performance, dance, art exhibition in conjunction with lectures, films, workshops and seminars are planned and executed throughout the month in conjunction with Black History Month events.
