Alpha Baptist to host safety program in honor of Kadin Shane Robinson

Alpha Baptist Church will host “Shane’s Day” on Thursday, Oct. 30 in memory of Kadin Shane Robinson who died last year on Halloween. Robinson died last year after falling out of a moving vehicle while trick-or-treating. The three-year-old was a member of the Alpha Baptist Early Learning program.   • Good Shepherd Lutheran to open Pumpkin Hollow Saturday

    The pumpkins are coming to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for its annual Pumpkin Hollow and fall festival. The pumpkins will be unloaded Saturday, Oct. 11, and the patch will open around 3:30 p.m. with pumpkins of all sizes available for purchase. Each year Good Shepherd Lutheran chooses a non-profit to donate the proceeds from Pumpkin Hollow. This year it is Bags of Love, a faith-based non-profit organization committed to working

  • St. Paul Presbyterian to celebrate 210th anniversary

    St. Paul Presbyterian Church, which meets near the Lowland exit on I-81 at 4540 St. Paul Road, will celebrate homecoming and its 210th anniversary with Communion on Sunday, Oct.12. The celebration begins with worship at 9:30 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Diana Moore. Kathy Sotelo on piano and Sarah Storms on the bagpipes will provide the special music for the service. After worship, there will be dinner at the pavilion.
