C-N awards faculty with recognition

 Carson-Newman University recently held its annual Faculty and Staff Community Honors Banquet in the university’s Stokely Memorial Cafeteria.  C-N Human Resources Coordinator Becky Boatright received the 2013 S.O.A.R.   • Niswonger to speak at WSCC graduation ceremony Saturday

    Walters State Community College will confer 1,329 degrees and certificates during its 44th commencement ceremony, which begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 11. The ceremony will be held at the Walters State Great Smoky Mountains Expo Center in White Pine.  Greeneville businessman and philanthropist Scott M. Niswonger will deliver the commencement address.   • LHMS, MRBC to host blood drive to aid in raising funds for teacher’s husband

     Stone Table recording artist JJ Heller performed on Carson-Newman’s campus, Wednesday, April 17, along with her husband, Dave.   • WSCC announces student inductees for Phi Theta Kappa
