All Saints’ Episcopal Church’s College Ministry (“Canterbury Club”) is hosting a cookout for all interested college students on Saturday, July 19 at 6 p.m. at a parishioner’s home. Call the church office at 423-586-6201 for directions or if you need a ride.

Breath of Life Ministries, 4185 E. Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, will be having a three night tent revival July 9-11. Service will start each night at 7 p.m. Guest speaker will be Prophet Michael Terry and Minister Ty Byrd. The tent will be set up right behind the church building. Pastor is Jennifer Pressley.

Buffalo Trail Baptist Church will have vacation Bible school, “Weird Animals” July 13 through July 17. Times each night are 6 to 9 p.m. Classes will be for ages 4 through 12th grade. For more information, contact the church office at 423-586-7023.

Cherokee Heights Baptist Church will welcome evangelist Dr. Bailey Smith on Sunday, July 6. Dr. Smith, an Evangelist of the Southern Baptist Convention, will be bringing a message during the morning worship service at 10:30 a.m. and also the evening service at 6 p.m. Bailey Smith Ministries is an evangelistic organization committed to the uncompromising proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Dr. Smith is the author of the best seller “Real Evangelism” and has several other books to his credit such as “Taking Back the Gospel,” “Real Christianity,” “Real Christian Excellence” and “The Grace Escape.” The Rev. Ken Cole is Pastor.

Friendly View Baptist Church, 1427 Shields Ferry Road, Morristown, will host Voices of Praise Singers Sunday, July 6 at 11 a.m. The Rev. David Dalton, Pastor.

Lakemoore Church will host a Freedom Celebration on Friday, July 4 at 6 p.m. There will be hotdogs, hamburgers, cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn and drinks for sale. Parking is free. There will be fun and games for everyone including an inflatable for the kids. Cherokee Park fireworks display that will be around 9:30 p.m. Take a blanket or lounge chair. Landmark Baptist Church located at 720 Marshall Ave. will have its 17th Annual Camp Meeting July 16-18. The main speakers are Bro. James Lockard, Bro. Jack Connally and Bro. Frankie Reaves for the evening services. Preachers will be called from the floor for the morning services. Special singing will be provided by the Reaves Family, Mullis Family, Bro. New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church, Panther Creek Rd., Morristown, will have The Masters Touch for the 11 a.m. service Sunday. The pastor is Bryan Cottrell.

New Hope Pentecostal Church, 180 Broadway Bean Staion, will have Bro. Richard Howard from Berea speaking Sunday July 6. Times are Sunday morning at 10 and Sunday night at 6 p.m. The pastor is Danny Purkey.

Young’s Memorial AME Zion Church, 1083 W Old AJ Highway, New Market, will have vacation Bible school Monday, July 21 through Thursday, July 24. The theme for this years’ study is “Colossal Coaster World – Facing Fear – Trusting God.” There will be classes ages 3 through adult. Devotion will begin at 6:45 p.m. each night with classes will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Rev. H. Gerald Hodge is pastor.
