Adriel Missionary Baptist Church in Bean Station will hold a 5K Run/Walk beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 10 to benefit the Grainger County Relay for Life. Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church will have an evening of praise and worship for their Pre-Men and Women’s Day on Saturday May 17 at 6 p.m. The celebration continues on Sunday, May 18 at 11 for morning worship and concludes that afternoon at 3:30 with Minister Sonya Price as the speaker from Phillip Baptist Church in Elizabethton. The theme is “We Are One.” Vacation Bible school will be held Monday through Wednesday June 2-4, classes are for all ages and are from 6 to 8 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5 p.m. For transportation and early registration, contact the church at 423-587-9466. New Life Primitive Baptist Church, 6510 St. Clair Rd., Russellville will have a benefit singing, followed by a silent auction and spaghetti dinner Saturday, May 10 at 11 a.m. Signers will be the New Foundations, The Waymakers, B.J. and Larry Collins, Gospel Messengers, Eric Reaves and family, Joshua Bailey, Voices of Praise, Phyllis Stapleton, True Faith and others. Focus Youth Ministry will perform. Rock of Ages Baptist Church of Morristown will celebrate its 2014 academic graduates during morning worship service at 11 on Sunday, May 18. Rock of Ages will also have a youth explosion on May 18 at 4 p.m. entitled The Rock’s 4th annual Youth Spring Bang. Multiple churches, choirs and praise teams will be there. There will be a testimony from special guest, Charles Rucker (former Morristown West Football player). Other highlights include recognition of the 2014 high school graduates of Morristown East and West will be included during this events. Youth Coordinators are Bro. Bobby Davis and Sis. Misha Fanney.
