Jefferson Church of God to dedicate new building
Jefferson City Church of God will celebrate its new building with a dedication service on Sunday, May 4.
The church recently moved into its new home located on the corner of George Street and Highway 92 in Jefferson City after years of planning and fundraising.
The church’s pastor, the Rev. Larry Dye said the congregation has been waiting for several years for the building to come to fruition and are very pleased to offer it to God’s blessing.
The dedication service will feature Church of God State Administrative Bishop Dr. Donald Walker beginning at 2 p.m.
The new building features a larger sanctuary, dining hall and classrooms.
The church, which began in 1917, will soon celebrate its centennial anniversary.
Sunday school and morning worship services begin at 10:30 a.m.
Everyone is welcome to attend any service.
