Bethel Missionary Baptist Church will have a deacon ordination for Bro. Raymond Thompson Jr. Sunday, April 27 at 5 p.m. Revival services will be April 28-30 at 7 p.m. The Rev. Jack Hawthorne, pastor of Cathedral Baptist Church, Florida, will deliver the messages. Voices of praise will be singing Monday. Church choir will perform Tuesday. Combined choir will sing Wednesday. Faith Temple Church Of God In Christ, 420 North Henry Street in Morristown, will observe Women’s Day on Sunday, April 27 at 4 p.m. The theme is “Holy Women with Tunnel Vision for Christ.” The guest speaker will be Evangelist Michelle Batson from Refreshing Springs Church of God in Christ in Knoxville. Knoxville District AIM Family and Friends Youth Service will be Friday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. The pastor is Elder J.W. Dukes Jr.

First United Methodist Church, Morristown, will have Duffy Robbins, professor of Youth Ministry at Eastern University, St. Davids, Pennsylvania. Duffy is leading the seminar “Parenting Today’s Teens” this Sunday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the community room. The seminar is free and open to the community. Duffy will also be preaching at the confirmation service at 6:30 p.m. in the gym with music lead by the youth band.
