RUBY MAE WILLIAMS CASE

Ruby Mae Williams Case, born Feb. 17, 1938, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014. She was the daughter of Elmer “Eb” Williams and Eva “Laura” Williams.

Ruby retired from Shelby Williams after 28 years where she has many friends. She attended Hillcrest Baptist Church and Crossroads Fellowship Church of God of Prophecy. She will be missed by all.

She is survived by her children, Steve (Leticia) Williams, Jason (Jennifer) Case, Travis (Katie) Case, John (Kathy) Case Jr. and Elizabeth Case; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; siblings, Dorothy (Jim) Martin, Betty (Alan) Crum, Bill (Shirley) Williams, Joe (Teri) Williams, George Williams and Rita Williams;

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 18 in the East chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the funeral service at 8 p.m. The Rev. Travis Carter and the Rev. David Williams officiating. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19 in Hamblen Memory Gardens.

EARNEST WAYNE ‘FROSTY’ COLLINS

Earnest Wayne “Frosty” Collins, 78, of Mohawk, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 at Takoma Regional Hospital. He was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Mohawk and was retired from NCR.

Earnest was preceded in death by a daughter, Wilma Gentry; two sisters, Joann Moore and Opal Dalton; and a brother, the Rev. Frank Whitaker.

Survivors include wife, Vena Mae Collins; daughter and son-in-law, Betsy and Terry Kinley of Bulls Gap; son, Rick Bible of Gilbert, S.C.; brother, Foye Collins of Whitesburg; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18 at Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with the Rev. Dwain Brewer, the Rev. Dale Holt and the Rev. Lonnie Knight. Interment will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Chapel in Midway.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home. Family and friends are asked to meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home to go into procession to the cemetery.

Hazel G. Collins, 80, passed away at The Heritage Center, Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 after a lingering illness.

Mary Evelyn Denton, 78 of Talbott, passed away at home Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 with her children by her side.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Denton; daughter, Angela Denton; parents, Fate and Lucille Williford; sister, Lillian Walker.

She is survived by her son, Jackie (Karen) Denton; daughters, Sue Denton and Martissa (Earl) Reagan; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 11 a.m. graveside service with the Rev. Vernon Heatherly officiating.

Russell Dean Drawdy, 76, of Jefferson City, passed away at 4:20 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Nances Grove Baptist Church and was retired from the U.S. Army with 22 years of service. He was a Christian with a heart for missions.

He is survived by loving wife of 59 years, Anne Drawdy; daughter, Bobbi Drawdy of Morristown; son, Jim (Tammy) Drawdy of Joplin, Mo.; grandchildren, Jamie (Derrick) Erwin, Taylor (Megan) Drawdy and Jacob Drawdy; great-grandchildren, Chai Drawdy and Evan Erwin.

A celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 at Nances Grove Baptist Church, 2214 Nances Grove Road, New Market, with the Rev. Sonny Fultz officiating. Friends may visit with the family following the service.

Jeanette Piney Wade, 83, of Rogersville, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport.

She was a lifelong member of the Little Country Church where she taught Sunday school for many of those years. She dedicated her life to her church and her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Wade; daughter, Connie Wade and son-in-law, George Gourley.

Jeanette leaves her children, Dennis (Anna) Wade, Gary (Dot) Wade, Joyce Gourley, Teresa (Wayne) Helton, Zella Wade, Odessa (Larry) Estes, Rita (Rick) Gilliam and Johnathon Wade; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brothers, Charlie and Homer Goins and a host of other family and friends and her beloved dog, Jack.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 18 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Colboch-Price Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Jerry Manis, the Rev. Hubert Buttry and the Rev. J.W. Linda Carol Brewer Webb, 66, of Mooresburg, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 at Wellmont Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport. She was a member of New Life Missionary Baptist Church in Rogersville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dana Webb; son, Michael Webb; parents, Quillen and Edith Brewer; and brothers, Eugene, J.T. and Jerry Brewer.

She is survived by her sister, Geraldine Park; twin brother, Harold Brewer; and brother, Norman Brewer (Rose); several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She will be missed by friends and co-workers at the Rogersville Post Office where she was an employee for many years.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. Funeral will follow with the Rev. Odell Davidson officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at Highland Cemetery.
