HARRY JAMES ADLER JR.

Harry James Adler Jr., age 48, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at his home.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2013 at Mayes Family Services, West Chapel and funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Family and friends will gather at Sunderland Cemetery Saturday, Jan. 11, 2013 for an 11 a.m. graveside service.

LINDA DIANE BEELER

Linda Diane Beeler, 61, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nora Hodge; father, Dallas Beeler; brothers, Ozie, Johnny and Roger Beeler; niece, Angel Atkins; grandparents, Carl and Lucille Wise and Herman and Myrtle Beeler.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Will) Howard; fiancé, Arthur Davidson; grandsons, Jeremiah and “little” Rex, all of Jefferson City; sisters, Myrtle (Johnny) Turner of Georgia, Helen Beeler of Rutledge and Dalene Foster of New Market; brother, Bill (Teresa) Beeler of Bean Station; aunts, Gladys Coy and Pearlie May Howard; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fielden Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7 at Fielden Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Trent officiating. Interment will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to service at Fielden Funeral Home in New Market.

DOROTHY JEAN CARSON

Dorothy Jean Carson, age 89, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at Lakeway Regional Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Three Springs Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Birdie Parrott; husband, Robert W. Carson; son, Roger L. Carson; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Della M. (Dwayne) King; son, Jerry M. Carson; seven grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Lois J. Carson; brothers, Lonnie Fawbush and George Parrott; sisters, Teodosia Svehla, Lorene Fawbush, and Mary Faye Waller; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 in the chapel of Mayes Family Services, Downtown and a private interment will be Tuesday.

JEWEL ‘JUDY’ HOWELL FAIN COPE

Jewel “Judy” Howell Fain Cope, age 73, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. She was a long-time employee of Lear Corporation and a member of the UAW.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Howell; mother, Mary Helen Howell; brothers, Herman and Cloyce Howell; and sister, Mary Katherine Howell.

Survivors include her daughters, Robin (Stan) McPherson and Susan Lupo; grandchildren, Jordan Chase McPherson and Mathea Obadiah; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 in the chapel of Mayes Family Services, Downtown and the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014 at Sunderland Cemetery.

MAXINE FULLER

Maxine Fuller, age 72, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Pearlie Collins and sisters, Mattie Hipshire and Alice Bunch.

Survivors include companion, Terry Ballinger; daughter, Kathy McCullouch; sons, Douglas Moody, Michael Fuller and Tommy Fuller; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Jo Collins, Mary Bunch, Susie Hazelgrove and Helen Barker; brothers, Charles Collins and Reva and Phillip Collins and Fay.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at the McNeil Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Duke Stratton officiating.

Special music will be provided by Michael T. Gibson and The Gibson Family.

Interment will follow in the Harrison Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 at the McNeil Funeral Home.

BILLY ELLIS GREENE

Billy Ellis Greene, age 71, of Morristown, previously of Sneedville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014 at Lakeway Regional Hospital. Billy was a retired fork lift driver from Lear Corporation. He was a member of Duck Creek Baptist Church in Sneedville but had attended The Country Church in Morristown for the past several years.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Elisha and Naomi Greene.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Madge Greene; daughter, Felicia Morgan; sisters, Rosie Clear of AZ, Ruth Johnson of Sneedville and Ruby Bumanglog of Virginia; brothers, Ralph and RC Greene of Sneedville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014 in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Hayes and Scott Hayes officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens at 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9 for a 10 a.m. graveside service.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

BRENDA KAYE GREENE

Brenda Kaye Greene, age 49, of Sneedville, was carried into the arms of her Savior on Jan. 4, 2014 following an extended illness. She was a fighter and fought until it was her time to leave. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was saved at an early age and lived for her Savior even through her sickness. For that, her family is blessed.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Mae Helton and sister, Debbie Helton

Those left to mourn her passing are her sons whom she loved dearly, Joshua and Tanya Greene and Justin Greene, all of Sneedville; her father, Davie Helton of Sneedville; her brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Patsy Helton of Sneedville; special father and mother; Jr. and Barbara Mathis of Sneedville. She also leaves behind a niece and several friends too many to name.

The family would like to thank Smoky Mountain Hospice, Karen, Lorrie, Anita and Mike for the special care given during Brenda’s illness.

Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 at the McNeil Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Alonzo Collins and the Rev. Alan Lamb officiating.

Interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014 in the Lawson-Helton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 at the McNeil Funeral Home

JAMES ROBERT ‘JR’ MOORE

James Robert “JR” Moore, age 75, of Morristown, passed away on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at UT Medical Center. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge #767 of Morristown.

Survivors include his children, Jimmy (Brenda) Moore, Deborah (Jeff) Stephens, Lea Ann Moore; step-children, Tracy (Debbie) Rogers, Kathy Davis, Shelia Rogers, David Rogers; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brothers, David R. (Pearl) Moore, Floyd E. Moore, Warren Lee Moore; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Dixie Kite.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Jack Greene officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. for an 11 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the services.

JIMMY ALLEN STUFFLE

Jimmy Allen Stuffle, age 69, of Bean Station, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at his residence. He was a member of Huberts Chapel Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Thelma Brooks Stuffle; brothers, Ralph Stuffle Jr. and Jerry Stuffle.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Lynch Stuffle; sons, David (Lisa) Stuffle, Shawn (Amber) Stuffle of Bean Station and Greg (Jamie) Stuffle of Mascot; grandchildren, Brittany (Sam) Holt, Derek, Julianne, Jackson, Halli and Molli Stuffle; sister, Kaye (Howard) Overbay; brother, Charles Stuffle both of Mooresburg, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 7 in the sanctuary of Adriel Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Collins officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8 in Hamblen Memory Gardens for a 2 p.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service at Adriel Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Adriel Baptist Church, 215 Adriel Dr., Bean Station, TN 37708.

The family would like to thank Smokey Mountain Home Health and Hospice and a special thanks to his daughter-in-law, Amber Stuffle who has been his special nurse.

Nina Styke, age 97, passed away Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014 in Kingsport.
