GARY ROGER BEAL
Gary Roger Beal, 64, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013 in Chattanooga.
He was born in Rogersville to Harry M. “Mark” Beal, who precedes him in death, and Janelle Dykes Beal.
In his younger years, Gary was an announcer for WRGS Radio Station, he then joined the U.S. Army, becoming a Vietnam Veteran, a member of the VFW No. 1289 Cooper T. Holt Post, the American Disabled Veterans and ASCPA. He was also a retiree of TVA.
Gary was a loving husband, father, son and friend to many, who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves his wife of 42 years, Brenda Helton Beal, son, Roger (Katie Barrett); mother, Janelle Beal; mother-in-law, Ruby Helton; aunt, Virginia Gipson; brothers-in-law, Robert (Elizabeth) Helton and Terry (Jennie) Helton; sister-in-law, Peggy (Lawrence) Smith; cousins, Kirby and Dennis Carpenter, Phillip Beal, Linda Poe, Nancy Livingston, Pam Mayo, Nancy Gregg, Carolyn Gilliam, Joan Jaynes, Joy Byrd, Brenda Shanks and Jack, Randall and Billy Johnson along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 4 at Colboch-Price Funeral Home with the Rev. Lawrence Smith and the Rev. Ed Horner officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Rogersville, with Military Honors provided by the Tennessee National Guard and the Hawkins County Color Guard.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, Jan. 3 from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

NANCY C. BRAULT
Nancy C. Brault, 66, of Talbott, passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014 at Lakeway Regional Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Brault.
She is survived by her sons, Tony (Lisa) Brault and Stephen (Angela) Brault; grandson, Stephen Brault Jr.; and many other special family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

James C. (JC) Brewer, 75, of Russellville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at his home.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 5 in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held on Monday, Jan. 6 at 2 p.m. in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Jan Dillman, 35, of dandridge, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013. She was the world’s greatest wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Trent.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil Dillman Jr.; children, Dillan, Kymber, Hunter and Emily Dillman; parents, Phyllis and Ralph Curtis Trent; brothers, Mike, Dennis and Darrell Trent; several nieces and nephews.

Odell Greene, 85, went to be with the Lord Jan. 1, 2014 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of Morristown Baptist Tabernacle. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired in 1992 from Detroit Diesel-Allison in Indianapolis.
He is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Candy Greene; parents, William Harvey and Laura Lawson Greene; siblings, Anna Bell Fleenor, Jane Lawson, Ruth Lawson, Hazel McGhee, Hubert Greene and Cecil Greene.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Bobbie “Irene” Greene; children, Donna Stewart, Ronnie (Cynthia) Greene, Michael (Candy) Greene; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3 in the East chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Private graveside services are scheduled for a later date.

Helen Leo Jackson, 94, of Thorn Hill, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014 at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Dexter Coffey; son, Coy Bruce Jackson.
She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Sue (Jackson) Albery and husband, Larry of Ohio; son, Boyd Kenneth Jackson and wife, Rosa of Thorn Hill; grandchildren, Jill (Joe) Wood, Davis Jackson and Wendy Adams; great-grandchildren, Julia, Jordan, Cory and Cody.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Jan. 4 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the chapel of Stetzer Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, Jan. 5 at 2 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Methodist Church in Thorn Hill with the Rev. Terry Dalton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

CHARLES EDWARD JARNAGIN
Charles Edward Jarnagin, 71, of Morristown, departed his earthly life on Monday, Dec. 30 to join his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born Feb. 23, 1942, the son of Alonza and Pauline Lamons, and adopted son of Jap and Beulah Jarnagin of Three Springs.
Charlie was employed with Henrite Corp/Plumley Company for some 30 plus years before the company moved to West Tennessee in the 1980’s. He then became employed with BESTurnings of Morristown, where he continued employment for more than 20 years up until the day of his death.
Charlie was an avid lover of fishing, football and NASCAR racing. He spent many evenings tournament fishing, watching a good race or cheering on his favorite Tennessee Vols. Even after his children reached adulthood, he loved attending local high school football games and assisting Boys & Girls Club events. A kind and fun-loving man, he touched many lives through his helpful and giving personality. His heart-warming smile, cheerful laugh and selfless way of life are truly going to be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by both his natural and adopted parents; wife, Carol Ann Jarnagin; brothers, Bill Lamons and Kenneth (Hoppy) Lamons; sister, Louise Seals; and best friend and fishing partner, Johnny Hayes.
He is survived by children, Richard Jarnagin, Karen Brooks, Brian Jarnagin and Suzanne Elkins; brother, Gene Lamons; sisters, Betty Richardson and Sue Crocker; step-children, Billy Knight, Ricky and Tommy Waltermyer; grandson, Brandon Jarnagin, who resided with him; as well as seven additional grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeff Brooks and the Rev. Jody Brooks will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ruth Justis, 96, of Whitesburg, passed away on Jan. 1, 2014 at Life Care Center of Morristown after an extended illness. Ruth was born in 1917 in Boone, N.C. and moved to Tennessee as a young girl. She lived the last 54 years of her life in Whitesburg. She was a member of Dodson Creek Methodist Church of Rogersville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Justis; parents, Lonnie and Beatrice Matney; brothers, Clay Matney, John Bernard (Dutch) Matney; infant brother Ray Matney and sister, Margaret Elkins.
She is survived by her sisters, Patsy (Earl) Walker, Lorene Alvis, Reba (Isaac) Price, Wanda Cinnamon and sister-in-law, Ann Matney. She is also survived by several nices and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.

Jerry Allen Stump (Dad, Papaw, Bop, Pap), of New Market, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 1, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Stump; son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Toni Stump of Parrottsville; son and daughter-in-law, Gregg and Brooke Stump of New Market; nephew, Jeff Enix; grandchildren, Adaira Damron, Preston Stump, Macy Stump, Dillon Walker, Hannah Walker, Hunter Norris, Braxton Stump, Olivia Stump, Haley Norris; great-grandchildren, Dannika Damron and Azlynn Stump.
Jerry was a U.S. Army veteran and retired brick mason, but most importantly, he was a loving and caring husband, father and papaw. He was also a member of Unity Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3 at Farrar Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Greene and the Rev. John Fultz officiating. Family and friends will gather at 1:45 p.m. Saturday at Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 2 p.m. graveside interment service.
