BILLYE L. WILBURN
Billye L. Wilburn, age 80, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013 at Jefferson City Health and Rehabilitation Center. Family and friends will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13 at Hamblen Memory Gardens for graveside services.

GEORGE D. MILLER
George D. Miller, age 83, of Rogersville, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013. He was a member of Fishers Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Malcolm Miller and Martha Mary Miller in 1991; brothers, Fred Allen Miller in May 1998 and Ray Watt Miller in May 1997.
George is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ruth Miller; three sons, Aaron D. Miller and wife, Diane of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Jimmie D. Linkous; Eddie Linkous and wife, Randi, all of Rogersville and twin daughters, Donna and Darla Miller of Morristown. He had one grandson whom he loved dearly, Jimmy Aaron “Tyler” Linkous and special friend, Katie Lawson; two step-grandchildren, Gary L. Lawson Jr. and wife, Ashley and Amy Lawson of Rogersville; four step-great grandchildren, Garrett and Gavin Lawson and Logan and Lauran Helton; special brother-in-law and friend, Don Linkous. He is also survived by several cousins and a host of friends.
George had the gift of seeing good in everyone he met, he never met a stranger, and loved everybody.
Visitation to celebrate his life will be Monday, Oct.14, 2013 at Colboch-Price Funeral Home from 5 until 7 p.m. with funeral services immediately following with the Rev. George “Fuzz” Bradley officiating, or you may visit anytime at the home.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 11 a.m. in Highland Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Fritts officiating.

DONALD EUGENE RICE
Donald Eugene Rice, 68, of Bean Station, passed away Oct. 11, 2013 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was retired from General Motors and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his parents, James and Edna Rice; wife, Linda Rice of Bean Station; daughter, Krystal (Dannie) Lamb of Rutledge; son, Dennis (Cindy) Rice of Talbott; and grandson, Aaron Rice.
Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013 in the chapel of Smith-Reagan Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Walden officiating. Graveside services will be Monday at noon in Heath’s Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. prior to services Sunday at the funeral home.

CHARLES E. SHROPSHIRE
Charles E. Shropshire, age 86, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 12 at his home. He was a member of Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, A. B. and Katie Lee Mayes Shropshire; and siblings, Mary Frank Brantley, Buford Shropshire, Donald Shropshire, Douglas Calfee, Delmer Shropshire, Dennis Shropshire, Darrell Shropshire, Haskel Shropshire, Ellis Shropshire and Carolyn Shropshire.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Van Shropshire; children, Stanley (Judy) Shropshire, Glenda Shropshire, Danny (Kristi) Shropshire and Dale Shropshire; sisters, Bonnie and Phyllis Shropshire; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Monday, Oct. 14, 2013 at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Jarnigan officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Tuesday morning at 10:45 a.m. for an 11 a.m. graveside service.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday evening prior to the services.
