Morristown Police Department Lt. Billy Gulley was recently appointed the new Support Services Division supervisor for the MPD.
Gulley is a 17-year veteran of the department.
He served as a School Resource Officer for two years at West High School, worked as a K-9 officer and more recently worked as a patrol supervisor for Bravo Shift.
The Support Services Supervisor position was previously held by Lt. Nathan Antrican who was recently assigned to the Training Division.
The Support Services Division is made up of several units that serve the City of Morristown. These units are responsible for enforcement activities, proactive crime prevention and community policing programs. This unit is comprised of the Honor Guard, School Resource Officers, Recruiting Unit, Community Oriented Policing Section, Public Housing Enforcement, the Bicycle Patrol Unit and other special operations functions.
Gulley has an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice and from the FBI National Academy in 2011. He has received leadership and management training in the field of law enforcement and served as a sergeant in the United States Army.
