Dale and Mary Short of Tazewell announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley Elizabeth, to Jody Louis Sellers.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Imagene Bunch and the late Guy Bunch, the late Ervin and Elizabeth Frost and the late William Hoyt and Dorothy Short, all of Tazewell.
The groom-elect is the son of Debbie Sellers of Tifton, Ga. and William Sellers of Smiths Station, Ala. He is the grandson of Mary Sellers, the late William L. Sellers, and the late Pete and Florene Voyles all of Cairo, Ga.
Ashley is a 2005 graduate of Claiborne High School, a 2009 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and graduated from the Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University, in 2012. She is presently employed as a Legal Services Officer with the Georgia State Department of Agriculture in Atlanta.
Jody is a 2008 graduate of the University of Georgia, Athens, and graduated from the Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University, in 2011. Jody is presently employed as an Attorney with Singleton and Singleton, LLC, Attorneys at Law in Griffin, Ga.
The couple will exchange vows Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Midway Baptist Church, New Tazewell. A reception will follow the ceremony at Woodlake Lodge, Golf and Country Club in Tazewell. All family and friends are invited to attend.
Marty Johnson and Jane Greene Johnson, both of Morristown, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Tori Grace Johnson, to Logan Samuel Callahan, son of Lee and Lisa Callahan, also of Morristown.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Betty S. Garrison of Knoxville and the late Tyler A. (Sonny) Greene Jr. of Morristown. She is also the granddaughter of Mrs. Loretta Johnson and the late George F. Johnson of Spartanburg, S.C.
She is a 2011 graduate of Morristown Hamblen High School West and is currently a junior at Carson Newman University, pursuing a BA in English.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Imogene Wilson and the late Charles E. Wilson of Morristown. He is also the grandson of Mrs. Carolyn Callahan and the late Vernon L. Callahan of Morristown.
He is a 2008 graduate of Morristown Hamblen High School West and is currently a senior at Tusculum College. He will graduate with a BS in Business. He is employed at Meadowview Middle School in Morristown.
The wedding is planned for 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 at First Baptist Church in Morristown. All friends and relatives are invited to join the celebration.
Kenny and Debra Rogers of Talbott announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristen Rebekah Rogers, to Bradley Jordan Harris, son of Tony and Tammy Harris of Morristown.
Kristen is the granddaughter of Mrs. Helen Rogers and the late Clellan Rogers and the late Howard and Azalee Malone, all of Morristown. She is a graduate of Morristown-Hamblen High School West and a graduate of Carson-Newman University with a master’s degree in Nursing. She is a pediatric nurse practitioner at Kidzcare Pediatrics in Athens.
Bradley is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Roy and Ruth Ann Greene of Morristown and Mrs. Nancy Harris and the late Raymond Harris of Rogersville. He is a graduate of Morristown-Hamblen High School West and is currently pursuing his doctorate degree in chemical engineering from the University of Tennessee, where he will graduate in May.
The wedding ceremony will be held Oct. 26, 2013 at The Foundry on the World’s Fair site.

The bride-elect is a student at Walters State in the pharmacy technician program. She is an employee at CVS Pharmacy in Morristown as a shift supervisor. The groom-elect is also a graduate from Morristown West High and has attended Walters State and MTSU. He is currently employed at Calloway Auto Sales in Jefferson City.
The wedding will take place at The Barn at Chestnut Springs in Sevierville at 6 p.m. on October 4, 2013. Invitations have been sent. After a cruise to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in Talbott.

She received her Associate of Science in Nursing from Walters State Community College and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from King University. She is currently employed as a registered nurse at Wellmont Hawkins County Memorial Hospital.
The groom-elect is a 2006 graduate of Cherokee High School. He received his Associate of Science in General Studies from Walters State Community College and his Bachelors of Science in Physical Education from East Tennessee State University. He is currently employed by the Hawkins County Department of Education as the physical education teacher for Surgoinsville Middle School, while pursuing his Masters Degree in Education from Carson Newman.
The wedding will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, 2013 at Jeter Mountain Farm in Hendersonville, N.C. Invitations have been sent.
