Good Shepherd hosting pumpkin patch
Preparing for the annual pumpkin patch and fall festival held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Morristown are Lou Edd Leman, MaryAnn Schultz, Cathy Williams, Judy Skovski, Janet Ford, Stephanie Hamill, Marry Anna Potter, Avis Stick and Bertha Gilliam.
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, located at 2435 W. AJ Hwy, Morristown, will once again have their pumpkin patch during October.
The patch will open for sales at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 12 and will be open daily for pumpkin sales through Halloween eve.
Pumpkins of all sizes and some of unusual shape and color will be offered from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday’s opening at 1 p.m. All proceeds benefit a local charity and this year Serenity House, a part of Friends of Hospice, has been selected.
The annual Pumpkin Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dozens of crafters and artisans will participate. Activities are planned for children, and home-baked goods will be available for purchase.
An added treat this year will the Great Pumpkin Café, where shoppers can relax and eat a lunch selected from homemade barbecue, chips, hot dogs, drinks and deserts.
