Rash of Burglaries reported in Morristown over past week
Reports of burglaries have been prevalent in Morristown this past week, and more were reported throughout the weekend with a man arrested in one incident.
Local law enforcement officers are working to resolve the burglaries reported, and while burglars usually don’t get away with much, when they’re arrested the price can be high.
One 19-year-old man was booked into the Hamblen County Jail on a $50,000 bond Friday.
Josh Dylan Bolden, 19, of North Henry Street, was taken into custody and charged with aggravated burglary in a case reported Sept. 3.
The victims of the burglary reported a loss of $990 worth of property.
Friday afternoon, a Kennedy Circle resident reported the theft of a 42″ flat screen television and DVD player, totaling $870, missing from her home.
Friday morning, another Kennedy Circle resident told police someone forced their way into her home and took money from her daughter’s closet.
Burglaries have also been reported this past week on Liberty Hill Road, South Jackson Street, Wildwood Drive, Crown Circle, West Converse Street, Fairview Road, Marshall Avenue and Barkley Landing Drive.
