Cornerstone Academy announces tickets are on sale for Cornerstone Theatre Arts’ first production, “An Easter Carol.” The play will be held at Cherokee Heights Baptist Church on April 26 and 27 at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for Cornerstone students. Tickets will be available at the school between 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and before the performance. However, seating is limited, so attendees should purchase tickets early.

The play is loosely based on Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” The protagonist is Ebeneaster, professor of religion at Dickens College who had abandoned his faith years ago. He has staked his academic career on refuting the historical resurrection of Christ. The professor’s efforts have earned him success and acclaim. Much like “A Christmas Carol,” Ebeneaster is visited by spirits who help him reclaim his faith.
