Dyer-Lutz
Mr. and Mrs. JD and Sherry Dyer of Whitesburg along with Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Shelia Lutz of Rogersville announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Jessica Nicole Dyer to Michael Shane Lutz.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lois and Freddie Johnson of Morristown and Betty and James Dyer of Bulls Gap. She is the great-granddaughter of Sue and the late Willie Russell of Morresburg and Nellie and the late Dale Phillips of Bulls Gap and Bonnie and the late Carroll Brewer of Sneedville.
Jessica is a 2010 graduate of Cherokee High School and is currently employed at Signature Health Care in Greeneville. Jessica is a student at Walter State Community College where she is majoring in Business. She attends Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Bulls Gap where she teaches the 3-8 year old Sunday school class.
The groom-elect is the grandson of William and June Carter of Greeneville and Archie and Barbara Lutz of Rogersville. He is the great-grandson of Mary Trent of Rogersville and the Late Hazel and James Lutz of Rogersville and the late W.C. and Clyde Carter of Greeneville and the late Woodrow and Selma Graham of Greeneville.
Michael is a 2011 graduate of Cherokee High School and is currently employed at Parker Industries of Greeneville. He is a student at Walters State Community College majoring in EMT/Fire and Rescue. He attends Tunnel Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
The ceremony is scheduled for 4 Saturday afternoon March 30, 2013 at Tunnel Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Rogersville. The Rev. Robbie Drinnon and Elder Jimmy Jarningan will be preforming the ceremony. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
Potapenko-Quinn
Doug Potapenko of Altoona, Wis. And Lisa Bradley of Knoxville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lauren Julie Potapenko to Justin Wayne Quinn, son of Linda Quinn Hill and the late Ronald Quinn and the step-son of Jimmy Hill. He is the grandson of Betty Quinn and the late Demus Quinn and Lola Newman and the late Cecil Ray Newman, all of Whitesburg.
The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Bearden High School of Knoxville and a 2011 nursing program gradute of Tennessee Technology Center at Knoxville.
The groom-elect is a 2005 graduate of Morristown-Hamblen High School East, a 2009 graduate of Carson-Newman College and a pending May 2013 graduate of ETSU Quillen College of Medicine.
The wedding is planned for 6:30 p.m. May 25, 2013 at Nolichucky Vineyard in Russellville. Invitation have been sent. The comple plan to rside where the forthcoming family medicine residency sends them.
