Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey will be the keynote speaker at the Hamblen County Republican Party’s annual Lincoln-Reagan dinner on March 9.
Phil Roe is also a scheduled guest for the event, which will begin at 6 p.m. at Manley Baptist Church in Morristown.
Hamblen County Republican Party Chairman Constance Hightower said the party is looking forward to hearing from Ramsey about the “exciting work going on in our state legislature.”
“Republicans all know that Lt. Gov. Ramsey is one of, if not the main architect of Republican gains in the state of Tennessee,” Hightower said. “Many years ago he had a vision of a republican majority in our state legislature, and he has consistently worked for slow, steady gains and has now achieved that.”
Hightower said the party is also interested to hear from Roe about events transpiring in Washington.
“We’re very proud of Congressman Roe and his representation of our district,” Hightower added.
State Sen. Steve Southerland and state Rep. Tilman Goins will attend the dinner as well, Hightower said.
Information about purchasing tickets for Lincoln-Reagan dinner, which are $25, can be found by calling 423-748-0340 or 423-327-0530.
