Mary Helen Cooper, age 86, of Morristown, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 6 at Gateway Church. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 7 at Hamblen Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the services at the church.

Jackie L. Jarnigan, age 63, of Russellville, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at his residence. He was employed by Sam Jarnigan Electrical and a member of Heaven’s View Missionary Baptist Church. He was in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Lee Jarnigan; parents, Sam and Ollie McDaniel Jarnigan; grandchild, Baby Wright; brothers, Merman Dean Jarnigan, Curtis “Buddy” Jarnigan, and Beby James Jarnigan; brothers-in-law, Charles Herbert McAmis, Robert “Bob” White, and Charles Wayne Simmons; and father and mother-in-law, Edward Lee and Mary Ruth Hatcher.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Darlene Jarnigan; son, Leslie Darrell Jarnigan; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy Denise and Dewayne Roberson; grandchildren, Alexandria Mary Wright and Denise Lee Wright; brothers, Willie Alex Jarnigan of Morristown, Sammy Herbert (Linda) Jarnigan of Whitesburg; sisters, Flossie (Ray) Horton of White Pine, Martilla McAmis of Greeneville, Betty Jo White, Bennie Simmons, and Janice (Howell) Fox, all of Morristown, Blanche (Bill) Russell of Whitesburg; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Evans Jarnigan and Gloria Hodge Jarnigan, both of Morristown; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Russell and the Rev. Barry Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Bethesda Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post 5266.

Pallbearers will be Billy Ray Horton, Timmy Fox, Tony Fox, Dewayne Roberson, Jimmy Jarnigan, Sam Jarnigan, Tommy Jarnigan, Steve Jarnigan, and Mike Jarnigan.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

WAYNE J. MORGAN

Wayne J. Morgan, age 68, of Blaine, passed away March 1, 2013 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a retired truck driver, and a member of New Freedom Church.

He was preceded in death by his son, Doug Morgan and his father, J. R. Morgan.

Survivors include his mother, Reba Morgan of Blaine; sister, Brenda Whitt Lawson; nephew, “Tiger” Whitt; three great nephews, Andy, Cody and “Smitty” Whitt, all of Lenoir City; aunts, Iva Daniel, Edna Williams and Vera Mae Morgan; uncles, Stanley and Junior Williams; and several cousins.

Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in the chapel of Smith-Reagan Funeral Home in Rutledge with the Rev. Lee Wayne Grubb and the Rev. Justin Summers officiating.

Family and friends will gather Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 10:45 a.m. in Block Springs Baptist Church Cemetery for an 11 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. prior to services Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

HELEN LOUISE REDNOUR

Helen Louise Rednour, 82, of Russellville, a devoted mother and grandmother went home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2013 at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church of Russellville. She retired from Coca Cola after 30 plus years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ula Monroe Rednour; parents, Albert and Fannie Price; one sister, two half-sisters and two half-brothers.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Tina Rednour; granddaughters, Shelby and Sydney Rednour; sister, Lula Belle Orrick, sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Lowell Trent; sister, Janie Helton; sister and brother-in-law, Maxie and Marvin Greene; brother, Albert Price and brother and sister-in-law, Hiram and Jeannie Price; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Receiving of friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013 in the East chapel of Allen Funeral Home in Morristown.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in Hamblen Memory Gardens in Morristown with the Rev. Dale Young and the Rev. Sam Grindstaff officiating.

Chad Lynn Rogers, age 34, of Morristown, passed from this life into the presence of his heavenly Father.

THELMA WILLIS

Mrs. Thelma Willis, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Life Care Center of Morristown. Mrs. Willis was a member of Manley Baptist Church and a Pink Lady at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, K.B. Willis; father, William Jess Smith; mother, Vada Smith; and brother, Roy C. Smith.

She is survived by her sister, Bertha Jane Smith; special friends, Mary Jane McGlothin and Mary Jo Bates; and several nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to the staff at Life Care Center of Morristown for their special care during Mrs. Willis’ illness.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 5 at Bethesda Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Manley Baptist Church Building Fund or to a charity of your choice.

Friends may call at their convenience at the funeral home prior to the graveside Tuesday.
