Strate Insurance Group has acquired certain accounts formerly serviced by the Morristown and Knoxville offices of Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA, Inc., bolstering its team in East Tennessee and its position as the top Trusted Choice insurance agency in the Morristown area.
The accounts include family and business insurance from both locations. Four associates from Wells Fargo’s Morristown office have joined the Strate Insurance team.
“Our team has tremendous professional respect for our colleagues at Wells Fargo Insurance Services, so when the opportunity came to join forces, it was an easy decision,” said Tom Strate, president of the agency. “This transition was a mutual decision and it should be seamless for our existing customers.
“We look forward to introducing our new customers to the Strate way of doing business, which is built on trust, relationship, experience and knowledge.”
The agreement is effective immediately, with the former Wells Fargo Insurance Services associates transitioning to offices at Strate’s headquarters at 1750 W. Andrew Johnson Highway.
According to Strate, all customer data and policy information will be safely transferred and will remain the same. Customers are not required to fill out any paperwork. The company does not expect any customer challenges during this transition, but associates are prepared for questions at 423-318-5800. The company’s website at www.strateinsurance.com also includes updated information for Strate and former Wells Fargo Insurance Services customers.
