Swauger-Light
Sarah Lynn Swauger, daughter of James E. Swauger Sr. and Lisa A. Swauger, of Morristown, and Justin Van Light, son of Gary V. Light and Debbie G. Light, of Baileyton, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Morristown-Hamblen High School East. She is both a 2008 and 2009 graduate of The University of Tennessee where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Masters of Science in English Education. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Education with a concentration in Literacy Studies at The University of Tennessee where she is employed as a graduate teaching assistant in Theory and Practice in Teacher Education.
The groom-elect is a 2004 graduate of North Greene High School. He is both a 2008 and 2009 graduate of The University of Tennessee where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Masters of Science in Sports Management. Justin is currently employed as an academic counselor in athletics at The University of Mississippi.
The wedding will take place in July.
Pham-Mills
Be and Anna Pham of Morristown, Tennessee, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kim, to Jacob Mills, son of Dennis and Vickie Mills of Morristown.
The couple started dating in the fall of 2009.
Kim is working on a Master of Science degree in Mass Communications from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Jacob recently graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Concrete Industry Management at Middle Tennessee State University. He is currently working as a management associate at Gerdau in Louisville, Ky.
A wedding is planned for 6:30 p.m. June 1, 2013 at the William-Payne House in Atlanta, Ga. The couple plans to reside in Louisville.
Breeding-Dearing
Keith and Donna Breeding of Morristown announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lauren Ashley Breeding, to Justin Michael Dearing, son of Mike Dearing and the late Jackie Bewley and Johnny Bewley.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Wiley Breeding and the late Eileen Stanifer of Morristown and Jim Martin and the late Betty Martin of Alexandria, Va.
She is a 2001 graduate at Morristown-Hamblen High School West and is a 2005 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. In 2011 she graduated from Vanderbilt University with a masters degree in nursing. She currently works at Vanderbilt Heart Transplant as an acute-care nurse practitioner in Nashville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Glen and Donna Dearing and Lois Kettner and the late Trent Ketner, all of Morristown. He is a 2003 graduate of Morristown-Hamblen High School West and a May 2009 graduate of Life University with a doctor of chiropractic degree. He is a practicing chiropractor in Nashville.
The ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 in Nashville.
