‘Almost, Maine’ auditions to be held Jan. 28 and Jan. 31
Walters State Community College’s Music and Theatre Department will host open auditions for the spring production of “Almost, Maine.” Auditions will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, and on Thursday, Jan. 31. Auditions will be held in room 132 of the Judge William H. Inman Humanities Complex.
“Almost, Maine” is a romantic comedy written by John Cariani. This was Cariani’s first play and was named as one of the best regional theatre productions. The play follows the residents of a mythical town as they fall in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways.
The play calls for 2-10 men and 2-9 women cast members. Auditions will be a cold reading from the script. Actors from high school age and up are invited. The play will be produced in April.
