Legacy Theatre in Jefferson City announces open auditions for the production of ‘In His Steps,” written by Philip Grecian and adapted from the book of the same name by Charles Sheldon.

The play tells the story of lives interrupted by a harsh reality and challenged to live out what they profess to believe. There are many strong, engaging roles. Legacy’s production team of artistic director, Peggy Horton Price, technical director Deborah Miller and costume designer Teresa Douglas, bring experience and creativity to the stage once again.

Auditions will be held at Heritage Fellowship in Jefferson City Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 6:30 p.m. and are open to ages 14 and up.

All participants should be prepared for cold readings. One female lead is a singer and requires ladies auditioning for this role to come prepared with a hymn solo to be done acappella.

Rehearsals take place in February and March leading up to performances April 5,6,12 and 13.
