Matthew James Craine of Morristown recently received his degree from Carson-Newman College.
Craine also received the President’s Academic Award during the ceremony.
The accounting and finance major was one of some 70 students who graduated at the Dec. 14 commencement ceremony held in Holt Field House on the C-N campus.
Knoxville’s Dr. Robert “Dr. Bob” Overholt gave the commencement address.
Overholt encouraged the graduates to have a “positive mental attitude, work hard and be the best (they) can be.”
