JEFFERSON CITY – Tarr Chevrolet begins a complete renovation project on their dealership located at 304 E. Broadway Boulevard in Jefferson City.
Tarr Chevrolet’s new building will showcase every element of Chevrolet’s new image program and will include a new facade and entryway, a complete new showroom and display center, which will more easily and conveniently exhibit the various lines of Chevrolet vehicles.
The dealership also will have a new customer reception center and lounge, which will feature a new large customer waiting area. The expected completion date of the entire project will be March 15, 2013.
The renovation will include a bright new service department drive-in reception center, parts shop and body shop office.
During construction, the sales department, service, parts, and body shop will be open for customers without interruption.
Scott Shafer, owner and dealer principal at Tarr Chevrolet, has received additional inventory to serve a large increase in business and to immediately satisfy the buying needs of the area.
“This is an investment for the local area. This project is really something to celebrate.” Shafer said “In a time when many companies are pulling back hiring and local investment, we have opted to reinvest in our community.”
“We want to send a clear message that we are in this for the long haul and are very optimistic about the local economy and the communities we serve. We are taking a stand for the future and reinvesting in our people and in our existing and future customers,” Shafer said. “None of this would be possible without the support and loyalty of our customers and for that we feel so blessed and humbled. We are very grateful,” “This project is our commitment to Chevrolet and to our customers, we are going to have a lot of fun during this process while continuing to treat people right,” Shafer concluded.
