Benefit to he held for fire victims

Victims of a September fire will be aided by a December fundraiser in Morristown.

 A benefit will be held for the Vernon and Patricia Clark family on Sunday, Dec. 2 in the banquet room of the Morristown Rescue Squad at 420 N. Jackson St.

 The Clark family lost their home and all their belongings in a fire on Sept. 3. Residents of the home included Vernon and Patricia, their 10-year old daughter, Destiny; adult daughter, Crystal Kuykendall, and her children, 9-year-old Eli and 18-month-old twin sons.

 The benefit will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. and will include live entertainment, a raffle and baked goods sale. Entertainers will include Alan Lemmons as Elvis and Sweet Harmony, who will take the stage at 5 p.m.

 Items needed by the family include furniture, household items (dishes, pots and pans, linens and blankets). Clothing sizes are: infant boys 18-24 months, shoe size 4; boy’s size 10, shoes size 4; girl’s size 12, shoe size 4 to 4 1/2; women’s size 9-10, or medium to large; women’s size 18, or XXL; women’s shoe sizes 7 to 7 1/2; men’s sizes 36 x 30 or 36 x 32 or XL, shoe size 10 and new or gently used ageappropriate toys. The family also needs cold-weather clothes and coats.
