Rose Center Council for the Arts will host its holiday open house, “A Victorian Homecoming, Our Gift to the Community,” from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7.
Festivities will include the opening of the December art exhibit, “Winter Scenes and Dreams” in the Edith Davis gallery on the main floor of the historic Rose School building.
Live holiday entertainment will be featured on the main floor, as well, including a brass ensemble led by Robb Neill, The Singing Saints from All Saints’ Episcopal School and excerpts from “The Nutcracker,” presented by The Downtown Dance Theatre.
Refreshments will be provided by the Rose Service Guild.
The evening will also provide access to the center’s Holiday Craft Fair, featuring local artisans and crafters. Hours for the fair are 2 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the classrooms located on the lower level of the center.
There is no admission charge to the open house and guests are welcome to stop by anytime during the evening.
