Greeneville WSCC hosting ‘Cafe Cabaret’

 The Greeneville/Greene County campus of Walters State Community College will host “Café Cabaret” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1.

 The evening will include storytelling, music and poetry. Scheduled performers include Sherril Miller, Stacey Jones, Jerry Burger and a Couple of Nimicks.

 Marci Sayler Nimick, instructor of speech, will serve as hostess and featured performer for the evening.

 Nimick is a member of the Jonesborough Storytellers Guild. She also has released two collections of music, “Bluegrass State of Mind” and “Charmed and Dangerous.” Nimick also serves as debate team coach at Walters State.

 The cabaret is free; however, donations will be accepted for future Culture Club activities. Food and beverages will be available at normal prices from the Greeneville/Greene County Campus Café.

 The event is sponsored by the Walters State Culture Club, which is based at the Greeneville/Greene County Campus.
