TBI investigating officer-involved shooting after Grainger standoff

A man is dead following a police chase and subsequent standoff Thursday with multiple law enforcement agencies in Grainger and Claiborne counties. According to a statement from the TBI, District Attorney General James Dunn requested the TBI investigate the shooting.   • FBI nabs man wanted in 2001 killing

    A Mexican national who stayed on the run for more 13 years after an alleged assassination-style shooting in Morristown was arrested Wednesday in Delaware and will be returned to East Tennessee to face a first-degree murder charge, authorities announced this morning. Law enforcement officials have strong evidence linking 51-year-old Ignacio Constantino, to the January 2001 killing of Jose G.
