Sheriff cars to get detachable cameras

The Hamblen County Commission approved several agenda items during its regularly scheduled session on Dec. 18. All members were present and voted unanimously to approve the $18,000 purchase of detachable in-car sheriff’s deputy video cameras. The purchase is covered 100 percent by grant funds. Barbara Whitt scheduled to be released Christmas Day
