City Council tabs Isaacs for MUC seat

During its Tuesday meeting, Morristown City councilmembers unanimously filled the vacancy on the Morristown Utility Commission. Rod Isaacs, general manager of Isaacs Enterprises Inc., will replace A.E. “Gene” Jolley on the commission. Isaacs’ term expires in July 2019.     Todd DeMaria, a pilot with the Cherokee RC Flyers, debuts his model P51D Red Tail at the group’s Aug. 16 Fly-In. The original plane was flown by the Tuskeegee Airmen in WWII, an all black fighter group that provided escorts for the bombers on their way to Germany.

    Saturday was a great weather day and turned out to be a perfect flying day, as well, especially for the pilots of the Cherokee RC Flyers.
