Patients’ data stolen in cyber attack

Cyber thieves have obtained limited personal data belonging to some patients of the Morristown Clinic Corp., according to officials with Community Health Systems.   • Museum celebrates King of the Wild Frontier’s birthday

    Reenactors and volunteers show off their best period dress at the celebration of Davy Crockett’s 228th birthday at the Crockett Tavern Museum in Morristown on Sunday.  Many of the reenactors are a part of a local homeschool unit that helped with activities and demonstrations throughout the day.

    While the Crockett Tavern Museum strives to stay true to the time period of the early 1800s when Davy lived there as a boy, one thing during Sunday’s birthday celebration for its namesake was undoubtedly from the modern era; the cake. Guests were treated to pieces of cookie cakes and an assortment of other refreshments as they dispersed around the museum grounds full of activities and demonstrations of pioneer life.
