YWCA Knoxville’s Race Against Racism

The YWCA Invites the Knoxville Community to the Race against Racism

 KNOXVILLE- The YWCA Knoxville will hold its annual Race against Racism on January 19, 2013 at 1 pm. The race will take place at the YWCA Phyllis Wheatley Center, which is located at 124 S. Cruze St. in Knoxville.

 Registration begins at 11:30 a.m.,  and an awards presentation will begin after the race at 1:45 p.m. Registration is $15 per person on a team of five or more, $12 per child under 15, or $20 per individual registered by January 6, 2013.Every registration submitted after that date will be $25. Every participant will receive a long-sleeved t-shirt on the day of the race.

This year’s race includes a NEW stroller category for the walk and 5K run. This family friendly event encourage all ages, even if they can’t walk just yet.
