WordPlayers’ “Ragtime” Opens

The WordPlayers’ Presents Tony Award Winning Musical: RAGTIME – Book by Terrence McNally, Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens, Music by Stephen Flaherty in the auditorium at Bearden High School in Knoxville.

An epic musical that powerfully illustrates the struggle and hope of three culturally different families – African American, Jewish immigrant and suburban WASP – as they intersect each other’s worlds in the early twentieth century melting pot of America. (Rated PG13 due to some violence, mild profanity and adult themes).
