The Aug. 21 meeting of the Tennessee Firearms Association Lakeway Chapter wil feature Det. Gary Bean of the Morristown Police Department as guest speaker.
Bean will discuss the Active Shooter response of the MPD, steps individuals should take to keep themselves and their families safe if caught in such an incident and how to best present themselves to responding officers.
The group will meet at at 7 p.m. at Shoney’s Restaurant in Morristown, 1933 W. Andrew Johnson Hwy. There will be a pre-meeting social hour at 6 p.m.
Membership is not required to attend.
