The Stars Are Never The Limit, Sullivan Idol

With the scenery in place, the stage is starting to look ready for Sullivan Idol 2012.
Sullivan Gardens 6-8th grade performing arts classes have been preparing for the event since early September. Along with some special guests and other student performers, the performing arts classes make up the cast and crew members of Sullivan Idol.
Audiences will see an array of talent from dance and tumbling acts to comedic and dramatic skits. Students will perform instrumental and vocal pieces, highlighting popular hits by Taylor Swift, The Jackson Five, The Band Perry, Van Halen, Fun., and many other popular artists.
Now, with the day upon them, Sullivan Idol will open this Thursday, October 25, at 7 p.m. at Sullivan Gardens K-8 School, 209 Rosemont St. in Kingsport.
There are several ticket prices. VIP tickets are $10, while general admission (floor seating) is $5 for adults and $1 for students (stadium seating). Funds from Sullivan Idol will go toward the students’ spring musical.
