New Year’s Hike

New Year’s Hike at Panther Creek State Park – Spoone Pavilion – Join us for a New Year’s hike as part of Tennessee State Park’s 75th anniversary celebration.

We’ll meet at the Spoone Shelter, then hike along the majestic Point Lookout Trail to the highest elevation in the park. This moderately strenuous hike offers amazing views of Lake Cherokee and the surrounding ridges.

Please dress warm and wear sturdy shoes or boots for this event. After our hike, we’ll return to the Spoone Shelter to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate.
