“A most wonderful evening of good food and musical entertainment, set in a Medieval theme, can be found in Greeneville, Tennessee.” The sixth annual “Madrigal Dinner” will be extended to three performances this year at Notre Dame Church, 212 Mount Bethel Road, in Greeneville, Tennessee. The dates are Thursday, December 6; Friday, December 7; and Saturday, December 8. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and dinner is served at 7:00 p.m.
Welcome the King and Queen, along with their court in period costume, prior to the traditional Wassail toast. Enjoy a variety of entertainment that features this year, the return of the mystifying court magician! Listen to songs sung beautifully accompanied by a variety of instruments including a harpsichord. Enjoy a five course meal made especially for the occasion, served at your seat by the wench staff. Learn about the custom of the “boar’s head” while you step back in time and relax in the remarkably decorated hall.
Tickets are now on sale for $25.00 each at Notre Dame Church or by calling the office (423) 639-9381. Ages are 12 and up only please. Seating is limited each night therefore advanced ticket sale is required – no tickets will be sold at the door. This evening out will begin a whole new holiday tradition!
