Christmas is fast-approaching and the Town of Jonesborough is gearing up for another festive season.
On Dec. 8, The Jonesborough Parks and Recreation Department is proud to be hosting the 2012 Jonesborough Christmas Parade. The theme this year is “Christmas Night of Lights.”
The department is accepting all entries but is especially interested in: live Christmas music, floats lit with Christmas lights, horses (only those that are well-controlled in large crowd situations) and antique cars.
The parade will begin at 6 p.m. on Boone Street and will progress to Main Street and Historic Downtown, ending at the Washington Avenue intersection.
