Starting February 25th to March 1st, the Hamblen County Sack Pack will be taking place in Hamblen County schools, benefitting Goodwill and its mission to provide vocational services to people with barriers to employment.
Goodwill Industries-Knoxville, Inc., has partnered with the American Museum of Science and Energy, Keep America Beautiful of Hamblen County, Dollywood, Sonic Drive-In to encourage participation in this weeklong event.
Children ages 5-13 that bring in a grocery bag full of items, such as gently used clothing, that they’ve collected from family, friends and neighbors to donate to Goodwill will receive one admission pass to the American Museum of Science and Energy, a coupon card from their local Sonic, and be entered in a drawing to win two free Dollywood passes.
