Marble Springs State Historic Site, in conjunction with the Smoky Mountain Storytellers Association, will be hosting “Halloween Haunts and Haints”, Saturday, Oct. 27, from 4 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Visitors can expect to enjoy trick or treating at the historic buildings; haunted trail; period children’s craft activities; prize raffle, and, of course, storytelling for the young and young at heart!

A costume parade & contest will begin at 5:15 p.m., so be sure to arrive early!! Costume Contest Categories include: Best Fictional, Cutest, Scariest, Most Historical, Most Creative, and Best Overall.
Registration begins at 4:00 and closes at 5:00. Registration fee of $1.00 per person is required for participation.
Admission: $5.00 16+, $3 ages 4 – 15, ages 3 & under are FREE; Family cap at $20.00; Parking is free.
A Rain date is scheduled for Nov. 3 in the event of cancellation due to inclement weather.
