The 2nd Annual Greeneville Summer Music Fest has been set for Saturday, June 23.
Activities are planned throughout the day, beginning at 10:00 a.m., culminating in a bluegrass concert on Saturday evening, 6:00, featuring Brand New Strings from Townsend and the James King Band. King is the SPBGMA Traditional Male Vocalist of the Year.
Craft booths will feature a variety of items, from those made out of wood to paintings, from needlepoint to decorated T-shirts. Cost for a 12 x 12 space for the day will be $75. Anyone wishing to have a craft booth may contact Mattie Salley at 865-329-5770 or Kay Grissom at 865-470-3183.
A limited number of food booths will feature local restaurants or groups. There will be a BBQ lunch and dinner served from Top Choice BBQ.
Bluegrass groups will include Strong Ties, Lonesome Pine and Walking in Tradition.
Tickets are now on sale for the concert in the evening featuring Brand New Strings and the James King Band. Adult tickets are $22.50 and student tickets are $15.00. Call the NPAC Box Office at 423-638-1679.
