Encore’s “Dixie Swim Club” opens at WSCC

If you liked Steel Magnolias, you’ll love this sassy, southern comedy from the writer of The Golden Girls. This is the heartwarming story of five Southern women on a college swim team, who reunite annually over the course of 33 years at a North Carolina beach cottage to catch up and provide colorful commentary on issues in each others’ lives. But when one of the pals faces an unexpected challenge, the ladies must rediscover their love and strength as a team to triumph.

Cast members of “The Dixie Swim Club” include Susan Christophel, Paige Munroe-Mattocks, Michele Green, Kathy Jones-Terry and Jackie Murray.
