“Coats for the Cold” Distribution at Rock of Refuge Church

December 1, 2012 @ 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Coats, hats, scarves and gloves will be given away at no charge during the annual “Coats for the Cold”  distribution  -  from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rock of Refuge Church, 1312 Davis St. in Morristown.

Church pastor is the Rev. Jeff Wells.

In the past, the church has given away an average of 1,000 coats on distribution day. Any coats or cold-weather items that remain after Dec. 1 will be offered to Hamblen County nonprofit agencies who serve the homeless.

A second distribution will be conducted in an area of Knoxville that serves the city’s homeless.
