Jefferson City Public Library is having a Christmas party and book signing event presenting local author, Hank Niceley, and his wife, Reba Nicely, 3-5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 20.
Please come and listen to this creative, talented and wonderful author. He will be singing a variety of Christmas carols. Also, his wife Reba will be reading some of his books to the children. There will be a time set aside where you can meet Mr. Niceley and have him autograph your purchased books.
Hank Niceley grew up in Knoxville where he attended Central High School. His college years were at Carson-Newman College , where he came back to teach after doing graduate work at Peabody College in Nashville. While in Nashville, he became involved in the music industry. Mr. Niceley has always felt a calling to use his God-given gifts in creative ways. Now retired from teaching art at Carson-Newman, he works as an author, artist/illustrator, poet, song writer and musical performer. He has written and illustrated six books and 2 CDs. One of his books he has written is The Butterfly and the Rainbow.
