“Christmas at Amy’s”

A one-act play written entirely by Misty West and the Grainger High School Theatre Arts class

Rutledge,TN December 13, 2012:  The inaugural Theatre Arts Class at Grainger High School will perform a one-act play written entirely by Misty West and her students.

No other production in the East Tennessee area has been authored and performed by high school students. The creation of the play began in October with only ideas and has transformed into a full-scale production.  The one-act play is a Christmas play about friendship, love, and letting go.

The performance is at 6:30 p.m. on December 13, 2012, in the Grainger High School Cafeteria. $5.00 admission at the door and children under 13 are free. All proceeds go to implement a traveling anti-bullying play production which will tour in the spring.
