Appalachian Ballet Company Opens 2012-2013 Season with

The Ninth Annual  – Bluejeans and Ballet!

 

Join your friends on Thursday, September 13^th at the Clayton Center for the Arts on the Maryville College campus when the award-winning Appalachian Ballet Company opens their season with the crowd pleasing Bluejeans and Ballet!  Make your reservations now. This popular event will feature the dancers performing some of the audience’s favorite pieces from the past 8 years , from Broadway and British tunes to Robinella – including several new works. Ben Needham-Wood from the Louisville Ballet Company has choreographed a new jazz work for the company and Kylie Morton has created a new contemporary piece for the show. The show will conclude with its well-known football ballet.  A harvest dinner will be served on the Plaza at 6:00 pm and the performance will follow in the Lambert Recital Hall at 7:15 pm.  Tickets are $55 and are available at the Clayton Center Box Office 981-8590 or the Appalachian Ballet Company studio 982-8463.
