December 4-30, Art Market Gallery of Knoxville is pleased to present an exhibit of recent works by Eric Gebhart and Elaine Barnes.
A First Friday Reception for the exhibit is planned for Dec. 7, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., with complimentary refreshments and live music.
Elaine Barnes will be exhibiting a collection of her recent works in clay. She says that, for her, the creative process is about joy: the joy of learning, joy in being able to spend time doing what she loves to do and hopefully, joy that she brings to others with her work. Elaine has exhibited in numerous juried exhibitions and several galleries.
Eric Gebhart is a nature and landscape photographer who draws much of his inspiration from the Smoky Mountains. To him, photography is about connecting with nature and sharing all that it has to offer through the images it allows him to create. His hope is that his work will inspire viewers to have a greater awareness of our responsibility to protect the environment.
