The 2nd Annual Veteran’s Appreciation Ball will be held on the evening of Friday, Nov. 9 at VFW Post 5266 in Morristown.
Hosted by the VFW Riders Association, the formal ball will be held in the VFW auditorium. The receiving line will begin at 7:45 p.m. An appreciation ceremony will be held at 8 p.m.
Soldiers and veterans who attend should wear their dress uniform. Civilian male guests should wear a formal coat and tie or tuxedo. Female guests should wear formal dressy attire.
The ball is free to all veterans and public service personnel. Guest tickets are $10 each.
Activities during the evening will include special guest speaker, Jim Claborn; music by Tommy 2 Tones & the Sound Machine; hors d’oeuvres; cash bar; door prizes and a photo booth.
