Village Fine Art Gallery, in cooperation with ETHS, is privileged to present a retrospective of works by Knoxville artist, Ted Burnett.  The exhibition and reception will be held at the Gallery, 4660 Old Broadway, from 2:00 pm. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, with a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Burnett’s artwork benefiting ETHS.

Burnett’s many awards include the Hallmark International Award, and his work was included in numerous museum and gallery exhibits nationwide.

Burnett excelled in a variety of media and styles in an array of subjects, including textured florals, abstract and realistic landscapes, modern expressionist paintings in mixed media, and a series replicating mosaics. Whatever the style and media, Ted was a master at capturing his feelings about the subject, as well as the image. Bill and Carolyn Mullins of Village Fine Art Gallery are especially honored and grateful to be chosen as the exclusive representative of the Burnett Estate collection – works of art that showcase the best of Ted’s creative genius from the 1940s until his untimely death in 1982.
